KIT is the result of a thoughtful analysis on the role of furniture as elements that structure space. In times where architecture shifts for more open and non-hierarchical spaces, a kitchen conceived with furniture logic adapts to the idea of a flexible, dynamic and integrated space.

KIT IS CONCEIVED AS AN OBJECT FOR THE KITCHEN, AN INTEGRATED AND COMPLEX PIECE THAT PROMOTES A CONTEMPORARY AND DYNAMIC SPACE.

The piece reinterprets an archetype traditionally associated with other rooms in the house and is inspired by electronic devices and appliances for its formal result. This poses the challenge of integrating the functionality, technology and ergonomics of a kitchen into an object usually conceived for other uses.

By obtaining a Gold Award in the German Design Award, LA AGENCIA becomes the first Uruguayan studio to receive this award and once again positions national design at levels of excellence and internatioanl competence. The project receives with this, its fourth international recognition for its innovative proposal and design excellence.
The German Design Award is Germany's oldest design award, promoted by the German Design Council, the country's leading design authority. The award recognizes, through a jury of notables, projects that represent pioneering contributions to the German and international design landscape. Among the winners of this recognized award, throughout history Braun, Volkswagen, Siemens and Lavazza stand out.
